Q. How far should I book in advance?
A. To be reasonably sure of securing a seat, it is advisable
to book at least 2-3 days before the tour. However, if you
are later than this, it is still worth giving us a try, as provided we have availability
we are able to take bookings right up until tour departure
time.
Q. Can I bring luggage on board the bus?
A. Our coaches have minimal storage space, so any more than
a small day pack is undesirable. If you need to bring along
any more than this, please be sure to let us know at the time
of booking.
Q. Are meals included?
A. Meals are not included with our tours other than morning tea on the Great Ocean Road tour and afternoon tea on the Phillip island tour. Lunch and dinner are at the
customer’s own expense. We make meals stops in towns where there are a wide range of food options across a range
of budgets.
Q. What time do the tours depart?
A. Our Great Ocean Road tour departs from our inner city pick up points between 7.00am and 8.00am. The actual pick up time depends upon the specific pick up location. Actual pick up times can be found in the drop-down list on step 3 of the online booking process.

Our Phillip Island tour departs from our inner city pick up points between 11.00am and 12.00 noon from April to October and between 12.00 noon and 1.00pm from November to March. Again, the actual pick up time depends upon the specific pick up location and can be found in the drop-down list on step 3 of the online booking process. Q. What time does the tour return to Melbourne?
A. Our Great Ocean Road tour returns to Melbourne at about 9.00-9.30pm.

the year, as the penguins arrive on the beach shortly after dark
each night. The following will give you an idea of our approximate

Q. Is much physical activity involved?
A. A reasonable level of physical mobility is required. A number
of the destinations are not accessible to physically handicapped
people. No long walks or trekking are involved, but some paths are
a little steep. |
|
Q. Where can I be dropped off after the tour?
A. Our guides are pleased to drop passengers off at reasonable
destinations in the St Kilda and inner city areas. Normal
drop off points include hotels, hostels and transport hubs.
If you live or are staying some way from the city centre,
the driver will drop you off at a railway station or tram
line on the route to your destination. Our tours return to
Melbourne with plenty of time before public transport stops
running.
Q. What are my payment options?
A. To make a fully paid booking a popular option is to book online.
When doing this you can print an e-ticket, or can choose to have a booking confirmation e-mailed to any address you nominate. (Or both!)
If you would prefer to pay on the day of the tour, we will require a credit card
number and expiry date to secure your seat. Unless specifically requested, the card will not be charged in advance of the tour and you may choose
to pay your guide on the day using either cash or credit card
(Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard). A processing fee of $3.00
per passenger applies to on-bus credit card payments.
Fully paid tickets may also be purchased from travel agencies and tour desks. |
