Feeding the birds
Thanks these two happy campers, Glen and Mark from Canada for sending us a pic from their recent visit to the Great Ocean Road. These King Parrots are just some of the spectacular birdlife we encounter on our day tour, and always seem to know when we’re about to arrive, descending on our group for a beak full of native seeds!

Friends joining the Great Ocean Road Tour
Just look at this bunch of trouble makers posing for the camera! These sulphur crested cockatoos are regular visitors on our Great Ocean Road tour and just love a bit of human attention.

Surfing beaches along the Great Ocean Road
Visitors to the Great Ocean Road’s most famous surf spot – Bells Beach – have been treated to some truly “gnarly” waves over the last couple of weeks. The surfers have been out in big numbers to make the most of the awesome conditions!! It’s a fabulous spectacle to watch these catch a big wave and pull out some funky manoeuvres on their way in to the shore.

Imagine if one day you were arrested…
Would you be frightened, excited, curious, or intimidated? What would the arresting police officers be like?
On our new Melbourne Crime Tour, you can find out!! Our tour “terminates” with an arresting experience at the Melbourne City Watch House where the Sergeant on duty will put you through your paces.
Before re-joining society, you can have your mug-shot taken, to cap off a truly memorable experience!

Spotted 2 whales near Apollo Bay!
This past week our customers were very lucky as they got to spot two whales just offshore at Skene’s Creek (near Apollo Bay)- two whales in the space of 10 minutes – awesome! Unfortunately we didn’t have a better zoo lens on the spot, but being there was definitely a great experience. These beautiful creatures come to the south coast of Australia every winter, sometimes to give birth to young, and can often we seen along the Great Ocean Road before beginning their journey back to the Antartic.

Join us for a tea or coffee at the beautiful Nobbies!
After a guided eco-tour of the Australian Garden, making your own chocolate at Panny’s Chocolate World and viewing koalas up close at the Koala Conservation Centre, relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee is a perfect way to admire the sunset.

A beautiful sunset at the Nobbies before heading to the Penguin Parade.

Island Archway in the Loch Ard Gorge precinct before (top) and after (bottom)
The Great Ocean Road proves again that the southern coastline is constantly reshaping. The last fall ocurred overnight between June 9 and 10, 2009, surprising the early visitors with an unexpected change of scenery. What do you think hould be the new name for this rock formation? Every time you go to the Great Ocean Road you’ll get something new!
